Jewelry Designer Dannelle Woody began creating jewelry in 1995, after nearly losing her infant son, Tyler to SIDS. The experience birthed a spiritual and creative expression of her faith through inspirational adornments. Dannelle retired her Dental Hygiene license and took courses throughout the years to perfect her skills. Since then, her handcrafted, individual pieces cast in silver, yellow gold, and rose gold have expanded to include pendants crafted from highly-polished, hand-cut, precious and semi-precious gemstones, many from which Dannelle, prospects and cuts herself. She makes each piece using a centrifugal casting and silversmithing technique. Also to add to her collection she accents the pieces with vintage glass beads, antique crystals and findings. She travels to Colorado and surrounding states with her parents who also love the trade, to prospect and acquire unique and exceptional stones to cut, polish, and set. Each piece is signed and packed in a decorative gift box accompanied by a scripture and message detailing the inspiration behind it. Her creations are available online and in person at juried art shows, festivals and community events throughout Texas. She and her husband Tom have three grown children: Hannah, Tyler, and Brock. The jewelry has become a family business. Her children, husband and parents have been a huge support and have started to learn the skill to create designs themselves.
